We’re looking for a new member for the Temkin Group team, a Customer Experience (CX) Analyst. Who’s the right person? Someone who combines a strong passion for and a proven expertise in helping large organizations improve their customer experience and someone who combines intellectual curiosity with a history of getting things done.
The CX Analyst will conduct research and deliver advice to client organizations through written reports, consulting, client inquiries, and speeches. Successful candidates will help large companies drive changes across their organizations that improve customer experience and build customer loyalty.
Responsibilities:
The CX Analyst will work as part of a small team and is expected to:
- Develop a deep understanding of customer experience management best practices.
- Conduct research into key aspects of CX management, including voice of the customer programs, customer journey mapping, and employee engagement.
- Write research reports on best practices and current and emerging trends based on company surveys, large-scale consumer surveys, and interviews with CX practitioners and vendors.
- Consult with clients through teleconferences and in-person consulting days.
- Deliver speeches at industry-related events and client-sponsored events.
- Establish a presence as an influential speaker and thought leader on CX topics.
Requirements:
Temkin Group is a small company that is looking for a self-starter who has both a passion for and strong expertise in customer experience. The right candidate has:
- Hands-on experience leading CX management efforts within large firms, either as a practitioner or working for a vendor that supports large organizations.
- Experience working with and influencing senior executives of large companies.
- A strong record of academic achievement.
- Superior analytical, writing, listening, and presentation skills.
- The ability to travel 20% to 50% of the time.

Where is this position located?
The position is in the U.S. It can be a work from home position for the right person or it will be based out of our Boston-area office.

This sounds like an amazing job! Understand that the position is 20 to 50% travel but where is the base location at? If an applicant does not work near the base location is there opportunity to telecommunicate?
Tony: The role can be done in any virtual location in the US (with a good internet connection). The person would need to periodically travel to clients and travel to Boston area for internal Temkin Group meetings.
